Key Objectives & Expected Results

Objectives

  • To develop targetable DNA methylation interference tools
  • To identify the effect of DNA methylation interference on selected genes in endocrine therapy resistant clones

Expected Results

  • Achieve experimental strategies suitable for targeted DNA methylation (enzyme variants)
  • Insight whether DNA methylation interference affects selected resistance genes in endocrine therapy resistant clones

Host training: DNA methylation assays, DNA-protein interactions, mutagenesis/directed evolution tools

Planned secondment(s): UMCG: Epigenetic interference (M23-25), Synvolux: Protein/DNA delivery (M10-11), UNIMIB: metabolic/proteomic profiling (M17)
